I was in Judy's 6th grade class at Nimitz Elementary School in Hawaii and I just read about her passing 3 days ago. My condolences to her family and friends across the country, she was a real angel and I've always wanted to thank her for being the Best first "girlfriend" a quiet shy kid could have during those wonder years. Broke my heart when she moved away to be stationed in TX. Always thought of her throughout the years and and how many people were going to put her in their hearts because of how special she was. A true blessing from God to us all. She was part of my young life that lasted so much longer throughout great memories like the field trips to beach, slow dancing to Hey Jude, sixteen candles and watching outdoor movies on base...always in my heart. I will miss the almost weekly telephone calls from Judy and her upbeat words of encouragement to me during the time I was a caregiver for my wife and her mother-in-law, Jeanice. We always had a good laugh at the end of our conversations by her telling me I was her favorite father-in-law and my response that she was my favorite daughter-in-law. May you walk the streets of Heaven hand in hand with all who passed before you that were loved and who loved you. Bill Veselka
