I was so saddened to read of Charlotte's passing. When I started back with the federal government in 1982, she was one of the first people to welcome me and quickly became a very close work friend. She mentored me with the local NFFE group and urged me to become a steward (which I did). Through the years we both changed jobs and about 8 years ago I lost touch with her. Charlotte was a no-nonsense person when dealing with workplace issues, but a stedfast friend. I shall miss her greatly.
