Charlotte Nadine Martin peacefully passed away at her home on Thursday, June 11, 2009. Born on September 8, 1938 in Portland, Oregon, Charlotte was 70 years old.
A lifetime Vancouver resident, Charlotte worked as a purchasing agent for the Federal Government. She enjoyed country western music and dancing, gardening, feeding the squirrels, and being with her friends and family.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter Karen (Joe) Young of Canby, Oregon, sons Michael (Jody) Staats of Woodland, sisters Pat Bakker and Phyllis Coulter both of Vancouver, grandchildren Chrystopher and Joshua Young, and Sonia and Shawntel Staats, and great-grandson Landin Staats. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald Perry in 2008, brother Phillip Martin, and step-sister Annette Reed.
There will be a Celebration of Charlotte's life at a later date.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
