Phyllis Antoinette Foisie returned to her Lord on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at her home in Vancouver surrounded by her family. Born on December 7, 1951 in Eureka, California to Calvin and Alice Kendall, Phyllis was 58 years old. A Vancouver resident since 1976, Phyllis worked as a consultant in the software industry, and was a member of River Rock Church in Camas. Along with being computer saavy, Phyllis will be remembered for her enjoyment of sewing, arts and crafts, decorating, and gardening. Most of all, Phyllis loved being around her family and friends. Phyllis is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 26 years Paul at home; daughters Julie Miller of Vancouver, Laurie Kotasek of Vancouver, and Kimberley Foisie of Vancouver; brothers Timothy (Judy) Kendall of Missoula, Montana, and Terry (Debbie) Kendall of Missoula, Montana; aunt Louise Kopnski of Morgantown, West Virgnia; cousin Michelle Kopnski of Pittsburge, Pennsylvania; and grandchildren James Miller and Joshua Miller both of Vancouver. There will be a celebration of Phyllis' life on Tuesday, June 29th at 11:00 am at the River Rock Church in Camas. Interment will be held at the Fern Prairie Cemetery in Camas. In lieu of flowers, the Foisies ask donations be sent to the Susan G. Komen Foundation: 1500 SW 1st Avenue, Suite 270; Portland, OR 97201. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
