Dear Kris, I'm so sorry that work has keep me from attending the funeral. Houston is so far from any of my family. I'll be out in a few weeks to visit you and the grave site. This will be very hard to go there and not see Uncle Wil. He was so full of life. He truely made my life better, knowing him! It was nice living in Longview and have you and Uncle Wil so close by then. As you know, I had many jobs near you house. Uncle Wil would come by and visit myself,my crews and customers. They all knew him as "Uncle Wil" I was very proud to have him as my UNCLE. He was truely one of a kind! He always brought a smile to all our faces. I miss him deeply. My brother had a dream on Feb. 12. Johnye is not one to share dream with anyone. In his dream, Uncle Wil was with his father, Archie and his brother Bobby. They were hugging and laughing and having one hell of a good time! I now know for sure where Uncle Wil is.............right where he needs to be! love Mark

Kelly was always ready to be a help to his sister-in-law and nephew -- from helping us move to getting our water back on line when the water pump froze. And when Aaron took up basketball (admittedly briefly), Kelly was the one who made sure that he had the very best basketball pole to practice shooting baskets with. Kelly had a loving heart and will surely be missed by all.

Kelly always made us laugh. I remember the first time that we meet you and Kelly. The girls wanted a place to ride with their friends. You both opened up the riding arena and your hearts to welcome us in. The pictures Kelly always took of the girls will provide many memories. Kelly and I joked just a few days ago when he snuck around the corner of the stall and took my picture while I was bent over mucking. We laughed as "it was my best side". He was always there providing a laugh and a story. We will be there for you. We send our love and support, Barb and Kristina

Dear Kris We were so sorry to hear of Kelly's passing. He was quite a guy. Full of life, stories, and caring. Red and Dick Ricotta would get such a kick out of his tales. Some stories best left out of print, I believe. Last time Red was there, a friend of ours was along on the visit. Mike thought too, what a guy. So Kris, may the good time memories out weigh the last few years of health problems. But I know that we had a few good laughs over the situation. One had to, otherwise the tears would have taken over. (I just have to ask, there wasn't a problem with a hose, hopefully) So, many hugs for you, and the rest of the family.

Kelly was always such a great man to be around. He always had a great story to tell, he was never boring! When we were all riding up at the arena, he would try his best to come up and watch us. He got a lot of joy out of just seeing us kids. Always welcoming us into the house. He watched out for us all the time. I know that he is still watching out for us from above. He will always make sure we are safe. Every time i ride i will think of him. He always loved playing cards! One of his favorite things to do. Kris, Any thing you need, call us, we are just down the street. I am always open to clean stalls or any thing i can do to help, i will! no matter what! Briley, Sarah and I are here for you! We love you so much! Love always, Laura
