Wayne Kackman Obituary

Wayne "Dub" Kackman passed away on July 14, 2005 in Vancouver. He was 73 years old. A 33 year Vancouver resident, Wayne worked as an assessor with Clark County. His passion was for sports as umpire, referee, coach, and mentor in football, basketball, baseball, and especially softball. He was a great family man and he enjoyed his kids and grandkids, biological and otherwise. Wayne is survived by his sons; John, David, Reverend Leon, Bob, Michael, and his daughter Lari. He is also survived by his brothers; John, Bill, and Don, and grandchildren Michael and Zoe. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 18th at 2:00 p.m. on field 1 at Prairie Fields in Brush Prairie. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Wayne's honor may be sent to the Vancouver Parks and Recreation or the American Diabetes Association. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
