We want to send our condolences to all of Carl's family. Carl and Florence boarded their horses (Duchess and Joe) at our place for many years. We always enjoyed visiting with them and we have many fond memories, which we will treasure.

All our sympathy and condolences to Carl's family. I could write a book on the many wonderful memories I have shared with Carl. We met while I was purchasing corn many years ago. I was always amazed how a simple business meeting could result in a lifelong friendship. Many years ago he and I took a trip to eastern WA, that trip cemented our friendship and resulted in many friends I have to this day. As I visited with Carl at the end of his life, he still possessed the ability to make you feel special and you had made his day just by stopping by. Words cannot express the loss that I feel with Carl's passing. I will miss the many wonderful visits and sharing he and I did. Friendships are to be treasured and I feel that Carl's was one of my best. Judy had the chance many years ago to work with Carl and Florence after Florence was dx with diabetes So, in many ways, we counted her as a close friend also. To all of you, who also treasured Carl's love, we extend our prayers and love. Fondly, John and Judy Magill

Dear Carole, Robin and Clint: Hello, dear ones! I'm a bit tardy with this but our hearts have been with you in these past days. Carl was a very special mentor and friend to me, especially during my early years in the priesthood in The Dalles, and I pray that a bit of his wisdom will always be a part of my life. I am consoled with the thought of Carl and Florence together again Gretchen and I continue to live on in The Dalles after retirement. We are very blessed, particularly having known people like you. Be well, and if you are in The Dalles and need a warm welcome somewhere come to 420 E. 11th. Blessings, rusty
