Hubert Franklin passed away on March 11, 2006 in Vancouver. Born on January 7, 1956 in Camas, Hubert was 91 years old.
A lifetime Camas resident, Hubert worked as a mill worker for Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill in Camas. He was a Veteran of the United States Army during World War II and a member of the Camas Assembly of God Church. Hubert enjoyed reading the Bible, hunting, fishing, and loved his family and his Lord.
Hubert is survived by three nephews, Jim Franklin of Camas, Ben Franklin of Camas, and Don Franklin of Rainier, WA, sister-in-law Mollena Franklin of Camas and several great-nephews and great-nieces.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, March 17th at 11:00 am at the Camas Assembly of God Church. Viewing will be held on Wednesday and Thursday from 10-5:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Private interment will take place at the Camas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Hubert's honor to the Camas Assembly of God's Children's Programs. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
